WizardGateway^SM is Cabconnect’s payment processing product that provides the interface via the Internet for secure and high-speed credit card authorizations and transaction processing.

Cabconnect’s product works with multiple in-vehicle hardware and wireless network solutions. Competitor systems typically work with a single device or wireless network which requires customers to purchase hardware to utilize the service. Total transaction fees associated with the WizardGateway are significantly lower than most competitive gateway products for two reasons.  

WizardGateway transmits the payment information directly to NOVA Information Services (NOVA), Cabconnect’s credit card payment processing partner. NOVA offers Cabconnect customers “rate pooling” for these transactions; all customers are measured and transaction fees determined by the entire volume of transactions processed by all customers. This ensures that taxicab companies receive among the lowest possible credit card processing transaction rates in the industry.
