RoadPoint is a vehicle tracking, text messaging and taxicab meter management product. Roadpoint is a software service that utilizes Global Positioning Systems (GPS) data to provide real-time vehicle location service to Cabconnect customers.

RoadPoint allows fleet managers to track a fleet of vehicles from any computer with internet connectivity. Dispatchers can utilize historical route data, such as “bread crumb” programs, to perform route auditing or fare calculations, recovery of lost or stolen vehicles, or the investigation of customer complaints.

Utilizing third-party mapping software customer can audit the meter fares utilizing the GPS data for the dispatched pick-up and drop-off addresses. Roadpoint also allows fleet managers to disable or enable the driver’s meter or mobile data terminals (MDTs) and transmit text message to drivers.

Like WizardGateway^SM, RoadPoint has been developed to integrate into a wide variety of in-vehicle hardware products, from inexpensive modem devices to sophisticated MDTs.
