CardONE^SM Contract Transit Cards are a means to streamline processes and reduce costs related to contract transit programs.  CardONE Transit Cards will allow government agencies to use an individualized, electronic swipe card as a replacement for vouchers or coupons used today by program participants. This will allow the government agency to achieve significant administrative costs savings related to the printing, securing, inventorying and administering of these vouchers or coupons will occur.

For taxicab companies that provide these services, these swipe cards can be used with the existing hardware installed in taxicabs to process credit card payments. Program administrators can manage, monitor and administer card usage via Cabconnect’s hosted web portal.

Utilization of program business rules will allow for the real-time program compliance, and alert instance of possible misuse and fraud. These cards issued to program users would replace the current multi-part voucher forms and related manual, inefficient processes to provide rides, cashier taxicab drivers, and receive reimbursement from the government agencies.
